It is a material sample that conveys beautiful raw material coloring technology by adding polarized pearls and glitter to polycarbonate, a transparent resin with excellent durability. Demonstrating the intricately calculated technological inner workings, KONOHA, GEKKA, and KIHANA are material samples featuring the sensation of changes in color and material induced by light. These are material samples containing “luminance” in addition to the three elements of hue, lightness, and saturation that constitute color. By eliminating the painting process at various manufacturing sites, CO2 and VOC can be reduced and recycled. Despite being material samples, they have received the German Design Award, the DFA Asia Design MERIT Award, and the Good Design Award, attracting attention from the global manufacturing community.
