The practice of extracting URUSHI sap dates back nearly 10,000 years.
Early humans scraped the trunks of URUSHI trees and carefully collected
the resin droplets, one by one, as a sacred ritual.
Honoring the wisdom of our ancestors who carefully managed limited resources over centuries,
the UR01 features an URUSHI tree trunk bearing traces of resin extraction,
from which light seems to flow, as if spilling drops of resin.
The UR11 embodies the hope that true joy and realization come from the origins of our lives—specifically, through the act of eating. When faced with limited resources, we are reminded of what is truly meaningful, experiencing the joy of sharing the abundance we have.
